The SL620A now features a range of new templates for photo calendars, a calendar collage feature and the option to create single-sided (simplex) calendars. These options are designed to improve the end-user experience by providing a greater number of options to choose from when using the very popular calendar feature of the SL620A.
Users will now also be able to retrieve and print their favorite photographs online from more social networks than ever before – including Facebook, Google Photos, Flickr, Twitter, Instagram, Dropbox, Google Drive and One Drive.
“Providing the broadest array of quality print options is critical to customer satisfaction and creating repeat business opportunities in retail environments,” said Katsuyuki Oshima, President of DNP IAM. “With this software update, retailers and photo booth providers can now offer their customers more choices and take advantage of new revenue generating opportunities for their business without any additional investment requirement.”
DNP’s new SL620A software v1.5.3 also provides improved usability and operational reliability including faster loading from folders for Android phones OS v5 and v6, better handling of cable connections to some Android phones that connect as USB memory, better sorting of images from iPhone when loading via cable and a bug fix for border and calendars.
The software update also adds new color adjustments controls that allows operators to tune the color output of each connected DS photo printer, ensuring the highest possible quality prints.
